Handcrafted in Stockelsdorf, Germany, Colibris is a family business that designs eyewear for petite faces. The idea of Colibris eyewear was born in 1998 by Wolfgang Reckzeh. The inspiration for the brand came when his wife Susanne Reckzeh couldn’t find the right glasses for her own face. She experienced the frustration of the usual frames she found being too wide and too large for her face. They always slipped off her nose and despite having access to the most modern and trendy eyewear brands in the world, nothing she and her husband could find would fit. Colibris manufacture glasses that suit, fit and complement those of us with smaller faces. In this way, they guarantee exceptional comfort, quality craftsmanship and really show the personality of the wearer!
